This brass or bronze spur, which is obviously incomplete, was recovered from a site in England. The longest side that you see in the photos is about 3 inches long. This is a neat early relic that likely dates from sometime between 1200 and 1500 A.D.

__________________________________________________________ A Medieval Dagger Silver Scabbard Tip found in England
This is a really neat item! It is a very delicate silver tip from a dagger scabbard. On one side it has an etched leaf design. It measures 2 inches in length. Sadly, it was crushed at some point - but it is still a neat relic. It likely dates to the period between 1200 and 1500 A.D., but I cannot be certain about this.
